Named after the most restless traveller in folklore
Our Chinese name, 猴王世界旅游社 — the Monkey King's World Travel Agency — borrows from the folk hero who somersaulted across continents just to see what was over the next ridge. We figured that was a decent mission statement for a travel agency.
How we got here
Monkey Jungle Adventure & Expedition (M) Sdn Bhd started as a small outbound desk in Kuala Lumpur. Today, our Penang office serves travellers across the region, while the group sizes stay small on purpose.
What we're chasing
We plan every itinerary around one question: what would make a guide who's done this route forty times still want to do it again? Usually the answer isn't another landmark — it's more time in the place that actually earned the trip its name.

Founded in Kuala Lumpur as a two-desk outbound agency booking regional group tours.

Opened our first dedicated expedition desk, starting with Sabah rainforest treks.

Crossed 5,000 travellers sent off and added our first long-haul European itineraries.

Launched safari and Arctic expedition lines in partnership with regional specialist guides.
